Now we go the reasons to travel with family, the question comes which place to choose as our next destination.
Things to consider before planning our next family travel destination.
- It must be cost effective. As we would travel in a group and sometimes funded by one family member, so its better to choose those places which have the best economical options available for family travel.
- Choose a place which is unvisited by all of family members. We recommend to select destinations which are not explored yet, because they provide excitement to all family members.
- Travel destination must be near the nature, away from daily routine life, comfortable and safe for all ages. Safety comes first in family travels. We would not like to end up making our trips, as the biggest mistake of our life. Avoid travel places which are :
- Politically unstable.
- Have highly criminal suburbs
- Too much crowded
- Easy to reach by public transport. Those travel destinations which have higher public transport connectivities are always cheaper, easily reachable and safer (as we would see other people around).
Considering all this, we started looking into the Europe map and compared different hidden gems.
We have many options like Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Normandy, Zadar, Brudges and Prague, before choosing our final destination.
We were looking for a city with medieval touch, greenery, popular cuisine, modern music and popularity. Finally, Amsterdam topped in the family travel destinations list in April month.
